Effect: 50-ft. radius centered on a point within range Duration: 1 hour per CL @{cl} hours Saving Throw: Will; disbelief Spell Resistance: No

Focus: At least a +3 focus.

The area continues to look, sound, and smell as it did when the spell was completed. Objects that are moved or removed appear to remain where they were. New objects and creatures are concealed behind the remembered scene. Opened doors, breached walls, disturbed ground, bodies, and other changes are hidden. The stored scene is not perfectly motionless: flames flicker, water moves, and creatures breathe or repeat small idle motions, but their positions and meaningful actions do not change.

The caster and any creatures they designate when the spell is cast recognize the false continuity as an illusion. Every other creature that perceives the area makes a Will save. On a failed save, creatures and objects that have changed or moved since the spell was cast have full concealment from that creature. A creature that moves leaves a figment of itself in its original square while its real position is concealed.

False Continuity records the area only once and cannot be reshaped. It cannot move real objects, provide cover, support weight, block movement, or conceal anything that leaves the spell's area. Physical interaction with a discrepancy allows another Will save. This includes passing through a false barrier, colliding with something the illusion conceals, attacking a figment left behind by a moved creature, or being attacked by something concealed behind the stored scene. Any attack is resolved before the physical proof grants another save. Being told that the scene is false is not physical proof. A successful save reveals the entire false continuity to that creature for the remaining duration.
