There are several disciplines where the use of magic is combined with the discipline of martial combat. Several forms of combat have been created throughout the hears that augment martial ability with the use of magic.
Silence Form: On this turn, when striking a foe that can cast magic, they must make a fortitude save DC (10 + Spell Level Sacrificed + Str or Dex + Spell Proficiency). On failure, they will be unable to perform verbal components for rounds equal to spell sacrificed.
Numb Form: On this turn, when striking a foe that can cast magic, they must make a fortitude save DC (10 + Spell Level Sacrificed + Str or Dex + Spell Proficiency). On failure, they will be unable to perform somatic components for rounds equal to spell sacrificed.
Violence Form: For rounds equal to the spell level sacrificed, gain 1d4 bleed damage to attacks. Gain an extra 1d4 per consecutive hit. The number of dice does not grow if an attack misses. The limit on dice is equal to the spell level sacrificed.
Shatter Form For one round gain an extra 1d6 base damage per spell level sacrificed when rolling damage for a shatter attack action.
